Get Your Podcast Featured on the
Podcast Maniac Blog
Submit a guest post with your podcast recommendations & I'll feature your show!
What is a Guest Post?
A guest post is when another writer (or in this case, a podcaster) submits an article or blog post that is published on a different writer/blogger’s website. It’s a great way to get exposure for you and your podcast!
Why Accept Other People’s Podcast Recs?
I want podcast fans to come to the Podcast Manic blog and find a variety of awesome podcasts to listen to.
My recommendations are based on shows I’ve actually listened to; I don’t just go to iTunes and pick the top-rated podcasts.
But this means that I can’t write about podcasts in certain niches, because I don’t really listen to—or know a lot about—those topics.
For example: I’m not into fantasy sports leagues or skilled in photography, so it’s hard for me to recommend “the best” podcasts in those categories. I need help from people who DO know the best podcasts on those topics.
How It Works:
- You recommend 4-6 podcasts that are in the same genre/about the same topic as your podcast
- You write a minimum of one paragraph per podcast recommendation, explaining why it’s a good show & what you like about it
- If you submit a quality list of recommendations*, I’ll listen to your podcast and include my own recommendation of your show in the blog post, including a link to your show
- The guest post featuring your recommendations will be published within 2-3 weeks of your submission

Some Tips Before You Submit Your Podcast Recommendations
Before you submit your list (using the form below), follow these tips:
1. Identify the #1 thing your podcast is about.
This will help focus the blog post & draw the ideal audience (and podcast listener!)
3. Make a list of podcasts that are similar to yours and draw the same type of audience. If you don’t have at least 4-6 really good podcasts that you’d recommend, go find some and listen to them. Then, pick the best ones.
4. Consider shows that have the same purpose/focus but have a different format, or a host of a different gender. Try to give podcast fans reading the article variety.
Once you’ve done all that, you’re ready to submit your recommendation!
